Friends of the Ramsey County Libraries (FRCL) is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization formed in 1979. We are dedicated to supporting Ramsey County Library in making information, books, music, and programs for all ages available to the public.
This is your chance to share your library story with others! Our ideal candidate will be a highly visible library advocate, with proven ability to lead organizational growth and develop and maintain relationships with individual, civic and business partners and donors.
The ability to successfully manage and meet fund raising goals, through current and newly developed programs, is important. A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Non-Profit Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field) from an accredited college or university, and six years of progressively responsible experience in management or administration with at least two years in senior level positions is required.
This is a part time position averaging 28-32 hours weekly. The hours are flexible, and working remotely is optional for a portion of the time. The office is located in Ramsey County Library’s Shoreview location. Starting compensation is $35 per hour with no health insurance, paid sick leave, paid vacation or other benefits.
