The primary duty is to coordinate and manage deliverables in the Career Pathway program that assists students to transition into jobs and secondary education by assisting in the design, evaluation and implementation of relevant career and college readiness curriculum and lead case management and advising processes. Build rapport and assist participants to make critical decisions that address life goals and challenges.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Assists in developing and maintaining positive home/school relationships among program participants

2. Assists in the successful implementation of the specified Career Pathway program

3. Builds and maintains relationship with prospective employers and identify opportunities for secondary education for participants

4. Builds relationships with program participants that leads to success

5. Assists in guiding program participants in completing job application, interview prep and maintaining employment

6. Serves as instructor in the specified program area

7. Manages data and reporting processes

8. Assists in both internal and external networking that will lead to successful program outcome

9. Assists in presenting a positive image that promotes Change Inc’s mission and vision

10. May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor


§ Bachelor’s Degree/or Technical Certificate in the specified area

§ Strong ability to communicate in a diverse cultural environment with interpersonal skills

§ Experience in teaching/training in placement services

§ Experience in working in cross-cultural and urban community

§ Experience working with English Language Learners

§ Demonstrated ability for cultural competence

§ Experience or demonstrated ability to work with adolescents/young adults
